13 unpremeditated and spontaneous improvisations on the Fender Rhodes electric piano.
To greet the new year, I set up my Fender Rhodes and resolved to just play freely with no preplanned music, just a shape, or the thought of an object, or a color... I've never worked so completely in the moment, and something about the sound of the Fender Rhodes made it easy, the reverberations suggesting where to go next. I came up with 13 very different colors using this limited pallet, and am happy to present them, warts and all, no overdubs, no corrections. I hope you enjoy them.
