Scrupulectomy

from Straight, a Head by Dave Hartl Quartet

/

about

The only tune not originally written for the album, this dates back to 1992 and was written as a piquant reply to the East Coast Lawyer mentality we see in the Philly jazz clubs. Hard to be background noise for someone’s loud mating rituals with this chart squawking away in the corner.
